Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the planning, execution, and closeout of the engineering scope of work for a project.
2. Works across all engineering disciplines to ensure the engineering deliverables are completed on time, on budget, and on quality and in accordance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
3. Responsible for delivering the fully integrated engineering scope of work and coordinating with all other members of the Project Management Team.
4. Ensures the engineering deliverables meet the project and company requirements.
5. Takes ownership to define and develop discipline scope by understanding and evaluating the project requirements;
6. Ensure engineering team is fully aware of project and company requirements and specifications
7. Communicate and promote the understanding of the scope, project strategy, execution roadmap, constraints
and ways of working to the engineering team
8. Set team expectations for quality, enforce safety requirements, and deliver a compliant design to meet project needs, company standards, and industry regulations
9. Coordinate with Discipline Leads and Discipline Managers to accurately forecast resource needs (staffing, tools, software, etc.) and completion dates for deliverables
10. Partner with Discipline Managers to ensure adequate number of qualified staff are assigned to the project to meet quality, budget, and schedule requirements per the project contract; ensure each team member understands his/her role and responsibilities.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or above;
2. More than 8 years of project design and management experience;
3. Good English reading and writing ability;
4. Be familiar with offshore oil & gas industry standard and code, and common experience in floater engineering;
5. Good at coordination with all discipline.
