Responsibilities
Project:
1. Identify and implement Marine Consulting opportunities specifically addressed to foster the development of new technologies and competencies
2. Assist Project Managers with deep knowledge in Naval Architecture, stability, repair and conversion projects
3. Communicate and build relationships with local Clients and Organisations.
4. Manage liaison with key partners involved in common projects
Customer:
1. Ensure services are supplied to requirements
2. Ensuring the highest customer satisfaction
3. Arrange and attend to meetings (both kick-off and periodical) with customers
4. Collect customers’ satisfaction and letter of reference at the end of the project
5. Support the OU Manager to ensure that all complaints are addressed in compliance with the complaints process documented in Customer Feedback and Complaints.
6. Represent RINA as required at client’s meetings, conferences, etc
Business Development:
1. Support technical development, innovation and delivery of strategic company initiatives in unison with OU Manager(s).
2. Provide technical input into the development of Procedures and Instructions specifically related to the field activities
Personal:
Ø Bachelor/Masters in Naval Architecture
Experience:
Ø Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in the maritime industry with a classification society, shipyard, marine/ship design/construction service provider or offshore industry (essential)
Ø Stability/retrofit/repair experience, ship design, AutoCad, (essential)
Ø Marine rules and regulations; IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, Class (essential)
Ø Gap Analysis (desired)
Ø IMO 2050 decarbonization targets, Bio-Fuels, Ammonia, Methanol, Hydrogen, LNG (desired)
Ø Energy Storage Systems (Batteries) and Hybrid Drive Solutions (desired)
