营运船验船师（江苏）

Principal tasks
- Supervising new construction of ships at the shipyards’ premises and carrying out surveys as applicable according to relevant requirements of Rules, Conventions, Regulations and the approved plans;
- Prepare and issue accurately and timely Survey reports and ship’s certificates;

Education and Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering;
- Previous professional experiences in Classification Societies and/or Chief Engineer Working Experience would be a strong plus;
- At least 6 years significant professional experience in similar or related businesses is requested., e.g. quality control of new construction, marine engineering as class Surveyor or as owner superintendent, etc.

- English skill is necessary.  

Personal skills and abilities
- Willing to travel frequently domestic and abroad;
- Practical and theoretical knowledge of hull, machinery, materials, equipment and safety systems of ships;
- Fluent in English language, both written and spoken;
- IT literate in MS Office;
- Ability to work in a team and on tight schedules;
- Ability to manage conflicts and to negotiate.
