Main Responsibilities:
1.This position is the core sales position within the company responsible for new business/clients as well as managing/leveraging existing accounts, driving results through individual and collective team sales efforts;
2.The position also contributes to strategic initiatives and planning through an extensive knowledge of market conditions, market sector, and/or product(s), to optimize exploitation of profit potential for assigned prospects and customers;
3.This position supports S&M director for an achievement of financial objectives;
4.The position promotes the brand name of Bureau Veritas;
5.Besides aforementioned, the employee should always comply with the requirements of the HSE management system.
Typical Responsibilities Include:
-Create Account plan and ensure execution of defined strategy and actions in the assigned area of responsibility.
-Develop, maintain and expanding client relationships, with a focus on maintaining current work and expanding new business opportunities and prospect for new clients and business opportunities within assigned area of responsibility.
-Forecast sales targets and track activity on assigned accounts.
-Lead the development of visiting plan
-Identify and qualify every available sales opportunity for marketing campaigns within the area of responsibility that will lead to increased sales.
-Create/update business campaigns and ensure data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM – Salesforce.
-Provide strategic insight within the assigned area or responsibility related to future business initiatives, market drivers, and competitor activities for inclusion in business planning.
-Maintains awareness of the overall BV service portfolio and promote services/products when appropriate.
-Any other tasks assigned by senior.
Requirements:
1. Demonstrated acumen for sales, technics, products, business development, and account management with experience in meeting and/or exceeding sales targets preferred.
2. Demonstrated proficiency in developing strategic customer relationships.
3. Strong leadership presence and the ability to quickly establish and build credibility and relationships, externally as well as internally to BV.
4. Excellent business judgment, including the ability to assess the reasonableness and likelihood of success of various business scenarios.
5. A self-starter with a demonstrated desire achieves goals and as well as a collaborative personality who effectively works with teams and individuals to achieve organizational business outcomes.
6. Strong commitment to ethical business practices, in full accordance with relevant corporate policies.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Typically, 7 or more years of experience in the assigned area of responsibility or market sector is required.
9. International experience, either as an expatriate or working with international projects and teams, is required.
10. Previous experience in business development or sales in a technical and diverse product environment is preferred.
11. Bachelor’s degree in shipping business or in an engineering technical field is required.
12. Non-degreed professionals may be considered pending level of experience and business requirements.
13. MBA or engineering postgraduate degree is preferred.
